Education, people & skills
Langstone are committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities by supporting local jobs, apprenticeships, work experience and ongoing training. We actively invest in developing people at all stages of their careers, offering apprenticeships that build long-term skills, work experience placements to inspire young people, and continuous professional development for our workforce. By working with local schools, colleges and training providers, we help individuals gain practical experience, industry knowledge and recognised qualifications, while strengthening the local skills base and supporting sustainable career pathways within the construction sector.
In addition, we work closely with Careers Wales to support careers events, provide industry insight and promote pathways into construction, and Recruitment partner Acorn by Synergie, supporting our commitment to creating local employment opportunities. By working closely with Acorn, we’re able to source skilled and reliable operatives, promote fair and inclusive recruitment practices, and provide job opportunities that meet the needs of both our projects and the local community, supporting people into sustainable employment, contributing to positive social and economic outcomes across the areas in which we operate.
